When learning to fly an aircraft, a simulator is one of the best options to run scenarios and other training activities in. The Beechcraft King Air C90GTx has a couple of options for flight simulators that include full motion flight simulators.

Full Motion Flight Simulators

After researching flight simulators, we were able to find two companies that are producing Beechcraft King Air C90GTx simulators. FlightSafety International is a manufacturer for full motion simulators for the King Air C90GTx. Their flight simulator is a professional full motion Level D simulator. FlightSafety’s simulator is most realistic you can get to the actual airplane. The King Air C90GTx simulator from the company has options for the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 or the new Pro Line Fusion avionics system that the C90GTx now comes in.

FlightSafety also has flight simulators in their training fleet, and those that use their training programs will be able to fly in one of the King Air C90GTx flight simulators.

You can view some information on the C90GTx simulator through this press release on their site here.

FRASCA International is another option for a Beechcraft King Air C90GTx simulator. The build non-motion flight simulators for the C90 series. On their website, it says that they build simulators for the Beechcraft King Air C90GTi, which is an earlier version of the GTx. It also looks like they have the capability to build a full-motion simulator also. The version of the C90GTx that they show on their website is the one with the Pro Line 21 avionics system. FRASCA has information on their simulator here.

Redbird Flight Simulations builds a motion simulator for the King Air C90GTx also. It is not a Level D simulator; however, it features motion to simulate the movement of the aircraft. Their version of the simulator is called the Redbird K9X, and it features the Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. More information can be found on their website here.

Computer Flight Simulators

For Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, there is a quality Beechcraft King Air C90GTx simulator model. Carenado has made a detailed model of the aircraft for the two simulator programs. It has the original avionics system for the turboprop, the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21. At the time this article was published, they were selling the simulator add-on for $39.95 on their website. You can view the model on their website here.
